He's been amazingly good for the last few games.

Proof of the undeniable superiority that comes with being a ginger

He was simply brilliant tonight. Fantastic passing, running up and down.
Box to box.

His first goal since December last year - although he was out for half a year.

He has a knack of going on a scoring run, so hopefully this was the start.

Richardson, by the way, was our 11th goalscorer this season :)

Great to see Scholes returning back to what we know he's capable of - his vision & slide rule passing - his goals are added bonuses!

However, I just hope he learns to pull his brake with regards his sometimes awful tackling!

His wonderful goal was nearly spoiled by a rash tackle a few minutes later - he was lucky to escape without a booking.

Carrick should be watching the little ginger nut like a hawk as there is no body better in that role when he's on form and Carrick would learn whats needed to reach that world class status! F*cking excellent

Scholes was immense as usual. Great goal. Im always screaming for him to shoot when he reaches positions like that because there is a good chance of a goal. Sometimes he decides to pass when he would be better served going for goal himself.

Aside from that one though, Scholes' tackling was fecking great last night. I reckon he made about five or six proper hard, clean tackles.

That "tackle" gave me a thought about the classic Scholes late tackle. If you watch his eyes / face, it seems like, having started to slide in, he keeps following the action, and forgets he's half way through scything somebody down. I reckon he could, and most players would, pull out of a lot of them, but it genuinely looks like he forgets to, as he's so keen to see where the balls gone and what's happening next. Hence why most fans and commentators will agree that he's not a dirty or malicious player - he never looks like he's trying to take the man. Silly theory maybe, but watch his face next time he does it.

What about Davo? Is he fat and ginger?

He should be stoned, if that's so!

I think usually they're just mis-timed, rather than dirty

I think most people would agree with that. I honestly think he just forgets he's doing them. Take the one last night, he just sliding along the greasy surface, looking up the pitch at the action, as if blissfully unaware that if he doesn't stop himself he's going straight through some hapless Dane's ankles!

What a Legend, my man of the season so far.
Not sure about that. Still say Giggs and Ronaldo have been our best players.

He'd be on a par with Ole and Saha though. Ole because you would of never expected this return.
