Seems like nobody caught on the idea of my post on the Liverpool 19-20 thread, I think a thread would do it.

By all accounts, vaccine for Wuhan virus wouldn’t be available even into new regular season.

Delaying the EURO but how long it is possible lest it messing with the season afterward? Little rest between regular seasons if not to say impossible given they are thinking about not relegate teams in relegation zone this season while promoting teams into the league to make it fair!

Not hosting EURO is not possible. International tournament is difficult to win. Losing chance to win a international tournament doesn’t sound right, especially players at the end of their careers. You can miss World Cup with an injury so trying to compete when you have a chance is nobrainer.

World Cup 2022 is in winter! So to delay the EURO while carrying out normal seasons don’t sound too well now, adding more problem on top already big mess.

European Super League idea had been an unfair idea to host of smaller teams in normal circumstances. However, in this climate it’s an idea that should be considered for an one time off.

It let EURO being the priority to run first, once thing get under control. It’s possible to organize European Super League to fit in the timeline between after the EURO and the start of 21-22 season however to help with the bizarre World Cup in Qatar.

Big clubs constantly clashing would maintain the interest for the sport, where recession is unavoidable. Running a normal season to completion doesn’t look like easy, if not to say impossible without affecting international tournaments.
