On Pellistri testing positive for covid he said:
"Well, I think we've done well to follow the protocols as we have, we've had the odd case and Facundo Pellistri got a positive test, so he reported that on his Twitter
"We don't normally comment on who they are but Facundo is well and hopefully he'll be back with us soon, he's been with the reserves and 23s and wasn't really in our group over Xmas. Apart from that, we have a full and fit squad."

On reaction to City defeat he said:
"The reaction has been as expected, you're disappointed when you go out, always are, wanted to go one step further but have shown many times this season we can bounced back after disappointments, did it after defeat to Arsenal, after Tottenham, after going out of Champions League, boys have reacted well.
"We go into the next game wanting to win this, we enter this competition wanting to win, there are a few players that had a few knocks, there'll be a few changes but we'll still field a team I'm confident in."

On Ighalo to being involved he said:
"Odion, it's special for him against Watford, he will be involved, he's in the squad, he's been training really well, he was the top scorer in round robin we just finished. He's not lost any of his quality, it's been difficult for him to be out of the squad as many times because he did really well up until the summer.
"This season he's not had as many opportunities and not let himself down as a professional and a human being. He's always a positive influence in the dressing room. Hopefully I don't need to put him on that we need goals, but hopefully he can join in."

On covid worries he said:
"First of all, you're worried about what's happening in society and the country, it's a big thing. I personally feel safe within our bubble, we've taken all the steps that we've had to in following protocols and guidelines.
"The club has been good, the players have been following as well as they can. What's happening outside is frightening and we have a responsibility and duty to steer clear and keep within the bubbles and the guidelines.
"I hope we can continue playing because it's a positive impact for everyone in the lockdown. Even I feel it at home when you don't have a game yourself you're looking forward to watching a game on telly and the mental wellbeing of football has been a big positive, I think."

On January exits (specifically Romero and Rojo) he said:
"Both of them have contracts until the summer and they're not gonna be extended, we're looking for them to find clubs, Marcos has been given time to go home, so he's still in Argentina, Sergio has been back home as well to see his family but he's back in England now.
"But they're professionals, they're working hard and ready if they call in for us. Marcos will have to travel and do the quarantine before."

On the Diallo deal he said:
"He's still not been with us in the training group, it's the last bit of paperwork so he can come in, excited by all new players coming in.
"I've seen there's been lots of expectations on Amad and rightly so, an exciting player with fantastic attributes we look forward to developing and giving him the chance to succeed at Man United. It's important we give him hat time to settle in, if it's in the 23s for his first few games, or if looks so ready to go into the first team, I don't know yet."

I guess.

But don't pretend you wouldn't love to see Ole leap from his chair and scream "WE GO FOR IT!" in a very deep, very Dutch accent when asked how he feels about United winning the league ;)
loved the theatre of LVG, but pretty happy with boring Ole at the moment.

I guess we all knew it was happening but not sure if it had been confirmed so bluntly before. The bare chested marauder is gone. Hasta Luego Rojo

I like Ole in how calm and composed he is, it's a great quality to have for a leader.
