That's how many in the last year?

Southampton 2-2
Everton 3-3
AC Milan 1-1

Anymore that I've missed?

When the pressure is up we crumble like apple pie.

Away to leic aswell. That's 6 points in the league and would have us looking up at City rather than down at 5th

What makes it so bad is LITERALLY in all three games we’ve taken off attacking players and brought on defensive players.

One time, you put it down to trial and error. A second time, you shake your head and think ‘okay no more’. When it happens a third time you genuinely have to ask is the person doing it suffering from some form of memory loss?

We surrender any initiative every single time we do it. Tonight to be fair we had none anyway. Still a fecking stupid decision. I’ve no idea why we had two left backs.

We don't manage games well. Players drop too keep and are allowed too, midfielders start to give it away whenever they get the chance to, you can't invite teams on.

The coaching team takes a lot of the blame for me, our set pieces have been a huge issues all season and nothing seems to be done to fix them. Maybe it's time to stop zonal marking, it doesn't work.

Yuh, we were shite before anyway but we still had a threat on the counter. That all went with Bruno and James going off but yeah it just tells the opposition, ‘have a go’. On all three occasions it’s been a set piece goal too because our team have zero composure when defending late leads.

By taking attacking players off were removing the outlet for our defenders and once that happens the defence is hemmed in near our final third. Plus the defenders that come in place of the attacking players play out of position and barely get any time to adjust since they're usually brought on in the last 10 mins. So for the most crucial part of the part our teams cohesion is suspect primarily due to our own substitutions.

Moreover the psychological message it sends to the team is demolarising which further invites pressure. A combination of all of this leads to conceding late goals that are mostly down to individual errors. This is easily avoidable but when will we learn ?

3 games. Wow
Incredible total isn't it

Especially as the Southampton one wasn't even this season.

And today's goal was totally different to the Everton one. One a corner, and one launched from the half way line.

Seems you never conceded them under Fergie, were always very good at seeing out leads home and away in last 5 minutes. Would be interested to see how many you actually conceded in injury time that were crucial strikes in even his last five seasons in charge.

Fergie's idea of seeing out a game was having possession in the opponents half and having wingers with pace to catch them on the counter instead of defending with 5 defenders and 3 defensive midfield players in our own box.

It’s quite a lot for stoppage time equalisers. How many do you reckon City have conceded in the same time frame?

It stems from a lack of quality and leadership in CM. Just can’t get hold of it and take the sting out of teams when they push hard for equalisers.

The best way to defend is keep the ball away from your goal, it's such an old school concept to say "ok we need to defend, lets bring on more defenders and sit deeper"

All it does is give the opposition momentum and get the ball into your box easier. Ole needs to learn this, he's probably still in that mindframe of sit deep and contain = good defending. We just can't do it.
