Some of the older caf members may remember the original storey table. It's a par based system to establish how well you're doing early on in the season, based on the difficulty of your fixtures.

It's NOT an alternative table because at the end of the season the real PL table and the par system will end up the same (or at least they will for the teams in the same groupings - i.e. teams 1-3, 4-10 & 11-20.
So what are the handicaps and what teams :
Par for each fixture home or away is based off last seasons league position finish (the newbies take the bottom 3 spots). The par score to finish top 4 is 72 points (incidentally what you would've needed to finish ahead of Spurs last season) for which you'll end up with a record of W20, D12 & L6.
I'll try and keep the table updated for as long as i'm arsed, but probably only for Arsenal, Spurs & United.
