No I just decided to check something and seen that

probably a technical fault, burning/dumping fuel, and returning home. no reports i can find though.

Pretty standard minor emergency. Head to somewhere out of the way to do some circles and dump/burn fuel then land back at Manchester.

Yes. They have to dump the fuel incase or an emergency landing

That particular plane can takeoff with around 13 tonnes more than it can safely land with. In an emergency it can land full but it's much more dangerous and likely to damage the wheels and brakes.
