This brings to mind a really funny story about Thaksin. When he was trying to buy Liverpool, he claimed he was a big fan of the club so one day a journalist asked him apart from Gerrard and Carragher who were his favorite players at Liverpool.

He said Michael Owen.

Watch out. As much as I hate to say it, racism is quite big in Korea, especially in Seoul.

Sorry. Didn't see the next post.
So why is there a lot of racism in Seoul then? surprised me, has that, although racism is rife everywhere. . .still, seems strange when a country as homogeneous as Korea has these problems. I guess, it boils down to a fear of the unknown.

Oh and I'd love to see Korean skinheads.

Some of the Koreans in this forum would disagree, but racism is quite strong in Korea. It may not be as strong as some countries such as the US, but it certainly is quite big.

I guess it'd be a sense of "we're superior and you're not."

No offence. . .but no one thinks that of Koreans. Are they just deluded?

I'm clearly superior than you.

No offence taken. At times I don't understand my own people.

I'm currently in guilt for bringing this up.

You're Catholic and all?

I've always found that a bit strange. The whole nation is Christian, whereas everywhere else around it, is either Buddhist or Shinto.

but yeah, if I went to Seoul, they'd all develop an inferiority complex.

I once met a Liverpool fan who didn't want us to hire Rafa because he was too ugly. I pointed out that we'd just had boggle eyes as our manager, but he wasn't detered and was adamant that Rafa wasn't good looking enough.

Uh, no idea. No offence, but I don't like France. That'll be like saying all English women like Aussies. Everything depends on the person.

Can we please change the subject? I'll delete my posts if I have to.
