It seems the caf is changing these days, with a lot of 'live' events taking place. Age of Empires, Haxball, Red Alert joining the old Werewolf, FIFA etc.
Unless you make a sign up thread however, it can be difficult to 'recruit' people who would be interested but dont bother clicking on the thread because its 1000 pages long and whenever they do it's the middle of a game rather than the start.
So, someplace to put requests for live events could be useful. I don't know how this could be done without disrupting the 'feel' of the caf, or anything else, but I imagine a lot of people would find it useful.
