If successful, I would have in a position to choose the 1st player in the reinforcement round: very probably Cruyjff because he doesn't block the trio Scirea/Cabrini/Gentile. The other recruit would have probably been the available defensive one: Bergomi or Gentile certainly available because Baresi/Scirea/Passarella would have disappeared in the interim
