In one week we have gone from favourites for Top 4 to bottom of the group. We have gone from 2nd favourites in FA Cup to out. We have gone from a chance in CL to very probably out to Barca.

It's been an awful week. We could put it down to disruption of players returning from injury. Or could it be the end of the new manager head wind.

From Euphoria against PSG to doom and gloom in the space of a couple of weeks.

What now?

Where is the problem?
Ole not quite the saviour?
Just bad luck with injuries?
Squad lacking quality?
Or is this just a bad week and a knee jerk thread?

We've lost two games...another two and you have a case.

Half the team was just back from injury. We lacked the intensity in the final third and after 50-60 mins we started to seriously tire. Nothing major.

Rode our luck for a while. Got a shed load of injuries now quality of players we have was exposed. Wolves were better physically and technically today. Would love to have Nevez in our squad and Jimenez as back up striker.

Just curious. Are you not just a little bit worried. He now has to show his mettle and pick these players up.

Worried? Are you for real?

Our previous manager completely ruined our season. Everything since Ole came is a bonus. Some of you need a good slap. There's no divine right to winning football matches - we have lots of work to do.

Minor accident.
We are winning CL and taking 3rd spot in the League this year.

Extremely important we get a shit run before the end of the season. Ole winning games without expectation or pressure tells us nothing about how he'll do in "the real world" so to speak.

The squad can get sorted, and we know Ole had the right energy when things are good, but this doesn't a top manager make. Good to see us bossed today, even if it's fecking annoying.

feck me I thought I was in the general and this was a literal helicopter crash on a honeymoon news story. Pleased it isn't.

Anyway, yeah, we haven't been great under Ole aesthetically for some games now. But he's had injuries to fight and players coming back. I can't really fault his selection or formation today. I just don't really think Rashford-Martial-Lingard works. Rashford has been crappy for a while now and Martial likes to disappear for massively large chunks of the game. It is what it is, we need to build on it in the summer. I doubt we'd buy any attackers though so it's kind of worrying.

Why did he drop fred! He was our best player against arsenal and yet doesn't get rewarded. Why is roji and jones in sub but no young striker. Has to be a bit more ruthless and not be one dimensional.

My god. I hate the caf when we loose.
We should never lose, that's what United is about, winning. The players have forgotten what it means to play for the shirt. You don't try to go through 2 players or so if you have another player on the side who can open up the game and move the ball forward fast.

I wouldn’t be to concerned if it was just a defeate to wolves I mean anybody can get knocked out of a cup competition. But what I am concerned with is the fact they played us off the park and made us look very average.

Today's performance was probably the first time we looked so utterly clueless all game. I'm not as worried as OP but I do think there's been a bit of a decline. The Arsenal game is a bit overblown though in my opinion, we had very good chances and just failed to capitalise. It wasn't like today where we really struggled to make a slither of a chance (well, except for after we were 2-0 down v Arsenal).

The problem is we are just awful at breaking down a resolute defence. We can't utilise our counter attacking ability when the opponent doesn't give us that space. Take that away from us and we've got nothing.

 fecking relax. We had an incredible 17 game run and then lost away to Arsenal in the league and then away to Wolves in the cup. Shit happens. Not the end of the world. Arsenal was a game we lost due to poor finishing, poor goalkeeping and then a bullshit pen. Today was a bad performance, but it's important to bounce back now.

What's the problem? Well, nothing really. We had a bad performance. Rashford, Martial, Lingard, Pogba all played shit and got shut down by what is a very strong side. No need for people to panic after losing in 2 very tough games, especially when you look at our previous run of very tough away games that we won.

When was the last time United went a season unbeaten?

All down hill where from here. Feel free to quote me in 6 months time when you all relise it as well.

I only asked for gods sake. To me today he got scared and picked players he shouldn't have done, who were not fit. He didn't trust the likes of Fred, Scott etc. Hopefully some of those players who have just come back can get fitter over the break and can come back and show a bit or urgency, because the rest of the season is big now.
