There's a trend of Guardiola flopping terribly in the CL too

Losing in the final is flopping now.
To be fair, he has lost, as a pretty lopsided favourite a fair few times... especially at City and at Barca.

2021 - Chelsea
2020 - Lyon
2019 - Spurs
2018 - Liverpool
2017 - Monaco
2016 - Atletico (possibly not huge favourites)
2015 - Barcelona (underdogs)
2014 - Real Madrid (underdogs)
2013 - Year out.
2012 - Chelsea.... probably the worst of the lot
2011 - Winner
2010 - Inter
2009 - Winner

He should of won four in a row at Barca and almost certainly should of had one at City now.... both sides consistently justified it, but that's the nature of a cup, the best doesn't always win it, if all that often..... but it's a ridiculous stain on his record, and he probably knows it, so someone on here saying it shouldn't be completely out there. I'm sure you can come back and say he's been ultra consistent in the competition... but, when you've consistently been considered the best team in the world, yeah, weird one.

He oddly didn't even seem to setup in some wild out there fashion today which is usually his undoing in the CL.... and still didn't happen.
