I was doing some thinking about how our season has gone this year and how we have done well against the other top 6 teams this year (which is a good sign). So because I was bored I figured I would look up the results of the top 6 head to head standings this year:

If this confirms anything, it's that we've had a pretty decent season and as Jose has said, we just need to find some consistency when playing the smaller clubs. Losses against Newcastle, West Brom and Huddersfield really hurt, as did our tie with Stoke City. That's 11 points dropped. Wouldn't have made any difference in the table this year, but it definitely would have made it a lot more interesting. This also shows just how bad Arsenal really are. 6 out of a possible 30 points is just horrible. Whoever takes over as their manager really has their work cut out for them. Hopefully they can rebound. I miss the days when our matches against them were the two that I circled on the calendar first...
