What the heck is a Letter of Freedom? Is Barca basically saying no transfer fees for said players? I'm sure the players would want to be 'made whole' in terms of the contract they signed with Barca, including deferred salary from 2020. And there are more 'levers'? Mes que un circus.

So they owe millions in deferred wages, don't have enough money to register their freebies, and yet still plan to spend €200m+ on players? Sheesh.

Is that because Madrid won the double last season and they need to appease the fans?

They've obviously fallen behind but to risk the club's long term future for short term gain is pretty reckless. It's not like they don't have a decent squad and some of the world's best youngsters that had injury plagued seasons. Aubamayang broke all kinds of records in the short time he's been there, spending €50m on a player as old as Lewandowski is a strange one when their biggest weakness is defensively imo. Feels a lot like shiny new toy syndrome.

Monaco have made a first offer estimated at 15 million euros for Breel Embolo (Mönchengladbach)

Very odd why a player like Lewa would accept any risk of him being paid his salary during that length of his contract. I mean he’s still good enough to play for any team so why would you only want Barca right now, that’s before you consider their financial plight…

Abdou Diallo is open to a move away from PSG this summer. Paris won't object but A.Henrique is asking for a big price from his interlocutors. A bit expensive for AC Milan. Other Italian clubs are monitoring the situation. Tottenham were on the case but will finalise C.Lenglet
