Anyone see that there was two Balls on the pitch when England got the penalty?

Sterling ran right past it.

How was the play not stopped?

Honestly, I can't think of another goal this ever happened off the top of my head. An interesting one. Big miss that.

Edit: I know all the replies will be don't cry. I'm just posting as it's interesting tbh

Surprised no one noticed it at the time. I didn't even see it till after the game.

There were 2 balls in play.

The second one was stationary and in no way interfering with play.

What happened a couple of seconds later will forever be branded as the biggest mistake by VAR.

Ref was a bit shit, two clear feck ups.

Delusion is a sorry symptom of being Kaned.
Can't wait for this to be played in the stadium after we smash Italy.

Also yeah, it does seem like 2 balls on the pitch there.

To be fair that is a big miss. Weird how English fans have lost all ability to hold a conversation.
