For the lazy people, since it's not in the OP

Apart from Greenwood, any decent players to keep an eye on?

Quick profiles on the 3 that I mentioned:
  • Burkart: speedy attacking player who can dribble and score goals wherever he plays
  • Laird: composed central defender/full back who's great on the ball (think of a quicker Tuanzebe if you want to imagine his playing style)
  • Garner: your typical Manchester United playmaking midfielder (composed, accurate passer, and can control the tempo)

Good review, thanks.

Not heard of Kovar the keeper, is he a new recruit?

Okay, Brandon Williams actually looks better than I thought that he'd be. His positioning and assurance at the back is impressive for a player at that age, and he always seems to be at the right place at the right time.

I see that Greenwood's still struggling a bit to adapt to the striker role. This will be a great opportunity to grow into it. He definitely has all of the tools to be a good lone forward at the top level.

He started off as a #10, similar to Rashford. McKenna, however, has recently started to play him more up front instead of Burkart, Mellor, etc., in order to grow him into it.

I see, proabably not a bad idea in order to build up his overall game.

That was selfish from Burkart. He had Greenwood all open on the left side, but I can see why he'd want to take a shot as he was given lots of space for it.

You can see how McKenna has instructed Mellor in this match to move up front whenever we have the ball in order to give Greenwood some support and get him into his comfort zone. At least Greenwood is allowed to transition slowly and smoothly. I'd rather have that so that he can keep his confidence high.

We have been very good in the first half. We had full control of possession in the first half of the first half, but even when City had much of the ball after that, we kept our shape and did a great job in disrupting their attacks. The players are showing a great amount of tactical understanding and knowledge of the game at that level, and props to McKenna for that.

Why do I get feeling they will make a comeback and deny our title?

I don't know.

How about being a bit more optimistic. We've been better and with a little bit more cleaner hitting we'd be 2/3 ahead

I confused Traore with Pogba I thought is coming to watch the game.
