Liverpool seem like they're on another level. You can see Klopp's philosophy permeates all the way to the lower levels.

Hannibal's looking annoyed out there. He's not happy with his performance and the lack of support that he's getting.

Helm's just come off for Hugill, so we might see some more options for Hannibal up ahead.

I'm not sure this is klopp, some of the Liverpool lads have played in their first team or been out on loan.

Hugil on for Helm. Should help having an actual centre forward up there.

Mejbri

Its unfortunately so typical of Mejbri - he is frustrated and wants to do everything himself, and gives a goal away
Absolutely. He's very talented but it honestly amazes me that people want him in the first team squad this season when he can't yet keep the ball at u23 level.

This could get very ugly. 3-0. Liverpool are barely arsed to even celebrate the goal.

I am not saying that goal was his fault - but Mejbri standing in the box looking at the Liverpool-players.

The United midfield can't keep up with the pace of the U23s so far. They're struggling to deal with the quickness and pressure first from Leicester and now from Liverpool.

Mejbri needs to grow the feck up and stop acting like a petulant little baby every match. It’s ridiculous at this stage.

Midfield are absolute garbage.

Elanga by far our best attacking player so far - deservedly gets a goal

If this doesn’t force Woodwood’s hand to spend that extra few million for Sancho then nothing will!

The midfield is causing us a lot of the problems. Need to calm the feck down on the ball.

You are on point. What separates great players from the rest is not how they play when things are going their way, but rather how they step up to the challenge when things hit the fan. Mejbri is still only a kid, but he has displayed an immaturity in the mental side of the game that should pump the brakes on talk of him running out with the first team this year.

One problem I've noticed with United's midfield is their lack of patience and composure on the ball. Hannibal has often been quite forceful on the ball. Wellens and McCann have barely recycled the ball when they're on it. It doesn't help that the players ahead of them aren't coming short and linking up with the midfield. Shoretire has been doing more of that ever since Hugill came on, which is encouraging.
