We will face City/Inter when we beat Liverpool.
Apparently so.Is it a one legged affair?
Apparently so.
Can any of those knowledgeable at U18 level tell us how good this Liverpool team is? I've seen a few pegging them as favourites for this tie on Reddit/Twitter.
And it's away...that's BS.Apparently so.

I'd assume they have a few U23s in there then, and their U23s are streets ahead of ours at the moment. They are below us in the U18 table.
ManUtd 30 points from 14 games
Liverpool and ManCity 26 points from 13 games.
ManUtd U18s also scored more goals than anyone.
But this is U19 if I'm not wrong, so selection criteria might be bit different.

Liverpool won their group, while United finished second. And it's away...that's BS.
How many of your u23s are eligible for the u19s?Liverpool are ok, had better youngsters in the past. But at under 19 wouldn't be surprised if suddenly Woodburn and TAA came in.
Have the played in the competition before? Seems a bit odd that the likes of Alexander-Arnold who seems to have a squad role play?Liverpool are ok, had better youngsters in the past. But at under 19 wouldn't be surprised if suddenly Woodburn and TAA came in.
Edit: downer is Rhian Brewster is long term out injured. He of the world cup hattrick scoring exploits.

Woodburn has played every game and been captain so no suddenly about it. KAA would have had to have been registered as 1 of 3 overage players so no chance of him playing.Liverpool are ok, had better youngsters in the past. But at under 19 wouldn't be surprised if suddenly Woodburn and TAA came in.

I see you have a Canadian, Liam Millar. Is he any good?
He is 19 but '98 born. The youth league is for '99s and three '98s are allowed. Is TAA over 19?
It's on boys. Be prepared to cry twice today.
Unfortunatley I doubt many here watched the match, it was really entertaining though! I was very impressed with Chong, he was a clearly a level or two above everyone on the pitch bar maybe Woodburn is he called?Commence the waterworks!

I think both teams have some good young players in the side, glad it didn't turn nasty like it has in previous United Liverpool matches as well.
Chong is a physical specimen for one of his age but opponents will catch him up in time so he will need to become more lethal when given a sight of goal.Chong played well in the last game I saw between us. He's the Duracell bunny right? Curtis Jones is one to watch for us along with Woodburn.
Liverpool followed by Inter should be interesting!
It's Gerrard's team but we won't go far now as some of the best players in the U18 went out on loan in January and Brewster is injured long term ... so it's been shorn of its stars.Apparently so.

Prior to United game we had only won 2 out of the last 6 !
Who has gone on loan? I can't see anyone from the u19s out on loan. It's Gerrard's team but we won't go far now as some of the best players in the U18 went out on loan in January and Brewster is injured long term ... so it's been shorn of its stars.

Yeah I think I mixed that up with the U23s where 4-5 went out. Probably some of those could play for the U19s too but it isn't what I thought.Who has gone on loan? I can't see anyone from the u19s out on loan.
Who are the favourites for this ? I imagine both City and Chelsea will be right up there ?
Yeah thanks. I thought they had a very strong squad and so no surprise they have some real quality there. Going to take some stopping.Chelsea will take some beating with Hudson Odoi, Ampadu, and Redan in the side. I really rate Chalobah, Sterling and James too. James destroyed our u23 last week. This is a side that nearly reached the final of the Check-a-Trade trophy (the lost on pens in the semi-finals to Lincoln). Letting the youth sides play in that trophy was to give them some experience against senior players, no one really expected them to be able to possibly win it.

That said, they up up against Real in the next round and I'm not really clued up on how good they or any of the other foreign sides are.
