Then we should call the new stadium the Comedy Gold Trafford.
Assuming we ever become good again then maybe Comedy Gold Trafford should be a crappy museum built on sketchy waste ground as a testament to all the garbage we've endured over the last 10years. It'll be magnificent, 10 porta-cabins full of mediocrity, come and marvel at Morgan Schneiderlins shin pads, meet and greet with Barry the coach driver that made us an hour late for a home game, try on David de Geas gloves from the Villareal penalty shootout, gaze upon half and half scarves from our visit to Astana in the Europa league and treat the kids to a lois van Gaal mince pie and some discounted J-Lingz merch from the bargain bin.

Come and get your photo taken with the bust of Fellaini and have your photo taken with tour guide and u23 legend Paul McShane.

The only team that matters
hopefully trump gets re-elected and we get mexico to pay for it.
He couldn't get Mexico to pay for a simple wall, not sure how he'll manage a stadium, he might be up for a hotel though

The Santander Stadium sounds appealing

Same colours for the brand would be a good sponsorship deal

This is common knowledge and an alternative or appropriate payment would have to be provided, but the thing is Peel Holdings have developed massive sites before by doing that sort of thing.
They’ve also snapped up several airports and attempted running them into the ground to siphon off the land on the cheap.

A man on a mission.
His legacy. And what a legacy to leave. When you think about it before this his not really been known to the wider public. Compare him to the billionaire’s in the USA, especially self made, all have a legacy eg Tesla, Microsoft, Apple, even the retail and real estate ones. In contrast INEOS is mostly B2B and the few B2C products you notice don’t really bring about much brand loyalty eg hand sanitizer etc.

It could be possible that the whole building a car, getting into sports and now United is simply his way of leaving a long lasting legacy. Something the public with forever remember and continue to use.

I don't imagine that land would be cheap to buy.

There's been some suggestion that a company owned by the Glazers own the land but I can't remember if it was confirmed.

If they’re going to regenerate the entire area with attractions, hotels, cinemas, bars, restaurants and entertainment on top of the stadium itself then something like Trafford Park Stadium would be simple and effective whilst including Trafford as a continuation from the current stadium, the entire area could be called Trafford Park.

The whole area isn't Trafford Park though. TP starts the road beyond the car park.

Why not just call the new site Old Trafford? Which is what people that go will still be calling it anyway.

Can still call it Old Trafford as it's still within the area. The stadium is named after the area it's in, so no need to change it.

If not, Trafford Park, Trafford Wharfside to go alongside the wider redevelopment of the area.
If they keep the old ground albeit being a lot smaller, for women and youth games, then OT would still be the existing stadium and keep the name, I would imagine.

Thought they'd pencilled in Trafford Wharf which would be a terrible stadium name as it would sound like a shopping mall.

You have to pay to use his name and of course it would be universally known as the Fart Stadium
Every seat has a picture of Trump on it and when you sit down a built in sensor triggers a random, and obviously hilarious, fart noise
