Doctor Tom was good but I am skeptical that he was paid by a company who have Ronaldo as their brand ambassador to work out who the GOAT is and Ronaldo won. You can prove anything with statistics, though that being said it is hard to argue with the result even so.

Its fair comment and with a big focus on goals scored then it discounts many great defenders and midfielders but then all these kinds of awards over history are always biased towards forwards

Really enjoyed that episode lads, great hearing from Tom. As an analyst I thoroughly enjoyed the discussion about he put together his analysis to determine the best player and as a United fan appreciated it being Ronaldo :D

Could only see the highlights from the big game but could not stop smiling watching them and thinking about the game all weekend. Was like being transported back to 2008. The GOAT has come home and I have no doubt he will score a barrel-load of goals for us. Cracking goals for the 3rd/4th too. Midfield still worries me but being a McT fanboy I think he will be able to step up and fill that space.

Quite a bit harsh on Sancho I thought, he will come good. Thought he was okay from what I saw and thought there was good movement from him for the second, pulls their full back over which opens up the space for Ronaldo. He just needs time and get used to the team.

Great cameo from Lingard. Not sure he will extend or anything and will move for free next year but think he will absolutely contribute through the season.

I absolutely let my heart rule my head at Fantasy Football :lol:

Prediction - 3rd in the league but think the top 4 will be very close. Think we will get to the QF's in CL and win a domestic trophy.

After Antonio's sending off hoping for two wins from two...but not great memories of playing in Switzerland :lol:

As mentioned on the podcast I was unfortunately in the stadium for that Basel loss - we did beat YB with ease a couple of years ago though

at least the Swiss Xmas markets were nice !
