Possibly, I'd be in favour of this with the exception of Bailly... I'd let Varane get accustomed to Maguire ahead of Southampton................. Henderson
Dalot - Bailly - Varane - Williams
..... Donny - Matic - Lingard
... Sancho - Cavani - Martial
Is Cavani in England?................ Henderson
Dalot - Bailly - Varane - Williams

Yeah, he posted a pic on his IG from his house in Manchester. Think this was 2-3 days ago.Is Cavani in England?
Like what?Burnley? At OT?? Sheeeeeettt!
Thinking about it, it's just about the best welcome to the peculiarities of English football that a player can get!
Yeah, I believe he's back in training today. Is Cavani in England?
Isolating?Yeah, he posted a pic on his IG from his house in Manchester. Think this was 2-3 days ago.
Robustness and directness for instance.Like what?
First day back today supposedly.Isolating?
I haven’t seen any pics of him in training
For sure.Robustness and directness for instance.
English football is a lot more robust, direct/fast, and physically demanding than continental European football for the most part.
That has been tempered over the past few years, but it's still a potential shock to plenty of incoming players.
That reminds me. Late last week, someone told me United had stopped tours between certain hours and he thought it was for Varane PR/pics.It’s definitely true.
If you book on the stadium tour around midday, you get to watch a bit of the game as part of the tour.
Keep Bardsley away from Sancho.Good for the much needed fitness, just stay on your feet and no injuries please!
Keep Jones away from Varane.
so other teams don't see it?Why do they do it behind closed doors? I don't see the benefit
Thanks for the insight, I'm asking what's gained from that?so other teams don't see it?
It's a friendly and absolutely necessary. I had thought we might do this. I think we did it last year too.Whatever they do no injuries please, I really don't like the idea of this...
Maybe to avoid all the planning, from cleaning up OT to setting up security at all levels. Thanks for the insight, I'm asking what's gained from that?
Because it’s a training exercise. Why do they do it behind closed doors? I don't see the benefit
They just lost 12-0 to Chelsea behind closed doors - not sure they could take another battering the week before their season starts.Shame we aren't playing Weymouth Terras as we could try and coax some information out of @Rolandofgilead !
Well they don't have to consider policing, extra staff and other official match day stuff I imagineWhy do they do it behind closed doors? I don't see the benefit
"Yeah, Lingard, Dalot, Jones and Andreas all scored five goals each. Better than Messi, they are, I swear! And only £25 million each!" - Ole, probablyLooking forward to the leaks of the score.
Though can never really trust if they are true until a player confirms it.
