Wonder how big an impact Irene is going to have on the tournament.

It's expected to hit New York in 2 hours.

Men's
Fish vs Kamke is a great match so far.

Women's
Laura Robson has reached the 2nd round, Morita has retired but a win is a win and Robson was anyway the better player

But obviously the japanese players have a big problem today.....three of them have retired in matches already

Men's
Blake and Nalbandian are in the next round.

Nadal plays right now and i can't see a post from his biggest fanboi
However Nadal leads 6-3 7-6 at the moment but he is far away from his best tennis and Golubev is too stupid to take advantage of Nadal's mistakes.

Women's
Kuznetsova is through.

Hantuchova is out :(

Keothavong is out of course too......she should just retire

Nadal wins 6-3 7-6 7-5 against Golubev but the boy from Kazakhstan was just too stupid.........

1.set: He blew one break
2.set: He had a break + seven set points
3.set: 5-2 up
Golubev played quite well and Nadal was horrendous.

He's been utterly shocking after Wimbledon.

Last year at the USO he didn't have his serve broken even once till the final and this time he was broken 6 times in the first round. It's going to be a very ugly tournament for him.

At least Kirilenko is through :)

Great game between Safarova vs Keys (16-years old) right now

Good start to the match from Roddick. I have always been a fan of his. He had big potential ten years ago and he just did not make use of it.

Baghdatis wins the 3rd set.

You can cheer all you want but he ain't going to win. Man the hype that surrounds him is ridiculous sometimes.
US Open is his favourite Grand Slam tournament, he has done well at the Grand Slam tournaments in the last years (Four semi-finals out of the last five), his route to the final isn't so difficult (2.R: Haase -> 3.R: Lopez -> Last 16: Wawrinka -> QF: Del Potro -> SF: Poor Nadal at the moment) and he wins sooner or later a Grand Slam tournament therefore he has a very good chance this time :)
