Deserves a thread of it's own.

Djokovic looking to get back on top. Federer looking to stay on top. And Murray looking to win his first Grand Slam.

Reckon Djokovic will beat Federer after Federer tires after a long semi final against Murray. :(

Murray and Federer are on the side of the draw?

This always winds me up. Why can't they just do it based on seeding? When Djokovic was no.1 Federer and Nadal should have been on the same side. Now, Murray and Djokovic should be on the same side. There should be some advantages of being number 1.

I heard they are - not following the US Open closely this year due to time difference issues. There has always been a draw though - just bad luck for the number 1 to draw the number 3.

Murray's potential quarter final opponent, Tsonga, has just been knocked out in 4 by Martin Klizan.

Tuesday's match between Julien Benneteau and Olivier Rochus was held up as an adorable little squirrel found its way onto the court, hungry for acorns and fame. Officials threw tennis balls at the poor creature to try and drive him off, but you've just got to let squirrel stoppages play themselves out. Benneteau would win in straight sets; the squirrel ate some nuts or something.

Roddick announced his retirement right now. Wasn't always the greatest fan of his but he'll be missed! Kim yesterday and now Roddick.

Laura Robson a set up and 5-5 against Li Na in the third round. She's improving all the time.

Robson beats Li 6-2 in the third set to go through.

How the hell did Murray win that one he was gone physically for some reason for about 2 sets. What a fight he put up to stay in it to win 3-1.

Murray is crushing him. Two sets up and already has a break in the third.

Straight sets win for Murray: 6-4, 6-4, 6-2. Played really well and his serve looks very good.

Murray was absolutely brilliant tonight. Some terrific shots. Class.

He was in control from the first game. Never even faced a break point against him.

Didn't realise Nadal was out with a knee injury. His body will fall apart I reckon.

Stupid rain.

Roddick vs Del Potro was getting interesting.

Damaged knee tendon and out for another two months, so he has missed last two slams and the Olympics. You do wonder how many times he can keep coming back.

How come Murray's match isn't being shown on Sky or Eurosport at the moment?

Cilic takes the first set 6-3. Murray looks nervy.

Murray's in real bother here. 4-1 with two breaks down in the second.

He wasn't earlier on, might be now

His whole game has been on Sky.....thus me watching it all...Roddick was on EuroSport where they now have that Vinci or whatever girl.

Cilic has fallen apart. 0-30 down serving for the set.

5-5. Murray will win this in four from here.

Yes Murray has gone up a gear and Cilic is struggling now.

Murray is messing the tie break up. Might be two sets down after all.

What a strange tiebreaker: 2-0 Murray, then 4-2 Cilic, then 7-4 Murray.

That's weird, I put Sky on at about 9 or maybe a bit later and it was cricket highlights and motogp or something. I clicked on the guide and it said coverage started at 10. Not sure what's happened there.

Easy match in the end for Murray. Facing going two sets down he won 17-3 in the final twenty games of the match.

I know people will say Fed was brilliant etc but that was an epic bottlejob by Berdych in the 3rd set. 2 double faults in a game? It won't be the first time he screws up vs Federer after going 2 sets to love up iirc. That 3rd set from him right now was a bigger choke than Cilic some hours back.
