This is a team on vacation, and has been so since the 6-2 vs Roma at Old Trafford.

We nearly made a meal of the return match in Rome, produced one last hurrah against Villa and then it's been drab, slow, dull affairs against Leicester, scum, Fulham. I'm not expecting anything against Wolves either.

I just hope the team can rally for Villareal, otherwise it's going to be a long summer of recriminations and fan frustrations.

Vacation to you guys is what we call holiday in the UK here, right? I don’t think there’s any danger of us not being pumped up for the final. Kind of understand how it’s been in other fixtures we’ve played.
