Does anyone know how the stats sites handle VAR? Before VAR, if you had a shot on goal but was subsequently called offside, it didn't count in your stats as a shot. But now, with linesmen encouraged not to raise the flag until the situation has played itself out, you often get situations where the offside call never came but everyone knows it was offside. Does that count as a shot then?
And what about passages of play that are later annulled because of a VAR call? I'm sure there are plenty of other dubious situations related to VAR that I can't think of right now, feel free to chip in.
