Vedat Muriqi agent on United rumours
The agent of Vedat Muriqi has said there is ‘a zero per cent chance’ that the Fenerbahce striker will leave the club in the January transfer window, amid speculation linking him with a move to United and others.
Muriqi is one of a number of strikers linked with a move to United late in the window, after Solskjaer’s hint that the club could still be in the market for a forward on loan.
MEN Sport understands there are no truth to the Muriqi rumours and his agent, Haluk Canatar, has also denied that the 25-year-old could move this month.
This is what Canatar said, via
TeamTalk:
“Muriqi has a four-year contract agreement with Fenerbahce, we are of course delighted that some of the top clubs in Europe are interested in Muriqi and scouting him.
“But we are not considering a transfer in January there is a zero percent chance he leaves.
“We have been contacted by interested clubs I left these matters with Damien Comolli [ex-sporting director] and now with Selahattin Baki.”
