Are these working as intended? Just got back from my second automatic 2 day ban in a couple of months triggered by a 1 point warning due to previous warning points having expired and taken me to below the 5 active warning points ban threshold. Currently if you have 2 posters with 5 active warning points who receive 4 one point warnings in a 12 month period, there's a scenario where one of them receives 4 automatic 2 day bans and another receives nothing.
It makes more sense that after you reach the trigger for the auto ban you shouldn't be able to get auto banned again for a 12 month period if you hit the same 5 or 10 warning threshold again due to points expiring.
I know the response will probably be something along the lines of 'Stop moaning p-ro, the simple answer is to not accrue warnings by being a dick' but the point still stands that 2 posters who accrue the same amount of warnings in a period have markedly different punishments.
