I’ve just had a look back at the season’s results so far and got the folllowing:

This season’s games:

Leeds: 5-1: cruised cause their manager has their team play suicidal football
Southampton: 1-1: poor draw
Wolves: 1-0: scraped a 1-0 win
Newcastle: 4-1 Ronaldo return, could easily have dropped points
Young Boys: 2-1 Lost
West Ham: 1-0 Lucky to win
West Ham: 1-0 Poor loss
Aston Villa: 1-0Poor loss
Villarreal: 2-1 Last minute winner
Everton: 1-1scraped a draw
Leicester: 4-2 Spanked
Atalanta: 3-2 Back from 2-0 against a team with half their team injured, last minute equal
Liverpool: 5-0 Spanked
Spurs: 3-0 Comfortable win (they then get a top class manager)
Villarreal: 2-2 Last minute equaliser
City: 2-0 Spanked

Taking out the Spurs game as they were the only team in a worse free-fall than us, we could have, very easily (without Ronaldo) could have lost 11 of the last 12!

Anyone left in the “Ole in” camp want to try and defend that record?

I would normally say this is true for any team and you win some you lose some but the performances have been terrible to go with it so it's not far from the truth. We just have a lot more money and attacking talent in our squad to bail us out than most.

Look at how many games we went behind in last season, this ain’t new unless you weren’t paying attention.
