They won't hire him. Wenger is just upset because Bayern said he offered his services to them by calling them and they turned him down. And he says now Bayern is lying.

Would be the second manager affair within the week where they report one thing and then the opposite happens virtually hours later. They're slacking.

You're refering to the 180 regarding Kovac getting this week to save his job? Kicker sent a push notification with the same content, I think it's more likely that someone at Bayern briefed the press prematurely.
The stuff about Wegner is worded as "on request FC Bayern told Bild:" we all know Bild enjoy getting creative, but when they do they wouldn't phrase it like that.

Well to be fair Bayern's statment to Bild asked for a reponse like that.

Yep it did. They probably felt forced to do that because media were reporting that day that Rangnick, Tuchel and Ten Haag turned them down already. But still a bit disrespectful to Wenger.

Hilarious if he does well at Bayern whilst the Arsenal continue to amuse us with their lack of success.

In an interview after tonight's match, Rummenigge stated that there may have been a misunderstanding between him and Wenger. I guess this is not the last we hear about this.
