Considering we have not won a ball in the last 15 minutes, it was expected, but still hurts alot, Zelem sleep walking not marking James.

Zelem with ”a Casemiro” and it’s an easy cutback goal for them just jogged and watched James score, no effort to track her. Poor from Mannion and García too.

What the hell was James doing there after the goal? Did Turner get booked as well, just for being put in a head lock by James? She’s a talented player, obviously, but she is a bit of a thug too. Very difficult to like.

A couple of subs at halftime would not be the worst idea. Our energy levels will get dangerously a lot lower if nothing is done to revitalize the side.

Officially the best poker player on RAWK.
I said to the missus that 5mins on the floor was clearly about extra time and getting energy for it.

After the restart it was all them, the goal was coming. Skinner needs to stop sitting on his hands and come up with something here. If we flat out defend, they will score more.

Not gonna lie here: Lauren James has to be up there alongside Sam Kerr and Megan Rapinoe as the most unlikable female footballers to have ever played the game.

The booking on Turner was absolutely abysmal from the ref. Its not up to James to take the ball and restart the game, just an appalling decision! James was the one that went physical on Turner initially trying wrestle her to take the ball. James should have received a yellow card. To only book Millie is a farce!

I agree. Won’t happen though, it’s Skinner. Parris & Malard coming in early to bring some energy and maybe hold the ball up every now and then would be nice.

From the footage Lauren James was booked as well. But James was really the only one who should have gotten booked if anything! Millie did nothing wrong.

And for some reason we have to keep giving her the benefit of the doubt, like when she keeps ‘accidentally’ stamping on opponents.

Yes, I can confirm that both Millie and James was booked. Really soft yellow cards from the ref, especially Millie was yellow carded for James & Rytting-Kaneryd attacking her to get the ball and not just giving it up immediately!

Millie held the ball for 3 seconds and received a yellow card for it. Now we now that you have 2 seconds to get the ball up the field when you have conceded a goal, just insanse.

I don't need to be reminded of that. She fecked us up a few times with such liberties when she played for us.
She got a couple of reds at United right for being reckless?

If Millie sees red because of that imaginary yellow card on her I will explode!

Yeah this is not good. For once we win the ball and a set piece to slow the pace down and we just hoof it out of play.

Leaving Lauren James unmarked in the box is madness. Somebody must have that job? Surely?

Even in a zonal marking system there's someone positionally supposed to be doing some marking
Zelem was standing around nearby just as with the 1st goal. Skinner needs to get on top of that!

Just seems a matter of time now. Need to start putting some solid tackles in. They’re just going through every challenge now.

Siobahn Chamberlain’s pro-Chelsea bias is getting really annoying. Worth winning just to piss her off

That's pretty standard unfortunately. Her setpieces are a great strength but we pay for them in other ways.

Ladd+Naalsund might have a better chance here but Skinner hasn't used that combination so we don't know. Nor does he sub Zelem. More likely to take off Williams.

The problem for me is Chelsea is bullying us with speed and strength, Ramirez is like a Russo on steroids :D

Our girls looks knackered and scared of the blue players. I know Chelsea has skills but does it really have to look like womens vs girls in terms of other aspects of the game?

I think that’s a good sub. Gives us that shield that Zelem fails to provide but keeps our most dangerous set piece weapon on the pitch.

Ah Toone not Williams. Same concept, different player.

Whatever happens, I appreciate Skinner for the subs. Would’ve made the same ones, and this time it wasn’t too late (even though some of us were asking them at HT).
