What's Happened our Strikers?

At the end of last season it looked as if that front 3 were sorted, outscoring Liverpools. Then we added Cavani but our Strikers this season have been so poor.

If we can try not turn this into a Solskjaer bitch fest there's plenty of threads for that. You can't blame the coaching but somehow say it wasn't the coaching that had them banging in goals last season.

The finishing has just dropped off massively and Greenwood and martial seem to be trying to outdo one another in terms of looking not bothered.

I know positivity is taboo around here but I really believe if we get cavani or one of these guys firing soon we will be in a very good place in January.

So who will step up and deliver? You would imagine the competition is a good thing

Greenwood and Cavani are our only true strikers.

Rashford is a wide forward not a number 9. Mourinho was right all along.

Martial is lazy and currently off form. And like Rashford is a natural wide forward who wants it to feet all the fecking time.

Imagine DCL or a dangerous and industrious striker in their prime leading the line for us... it would be amazing until we realise we still have no width

Two thoughts on this

1- the outscoring Liverpool's front 3 is a meaningless stat that was padded out by the fact the front 3 played a lot of lower league sides in the cups and lesser sides in the Europa
2- every one of them haven't got going for different reasons, Rashford because he's injured, Martial due to the suspension, Greenwood due to off the pitch issues

Im sure they'll get going eventually but we needed more in the summer, not just a panic Cavani on deadline day
