Who out of our current squad gets into this Bayern lineup?

I'd say the only debate could be
Pogba/Fernandes over Muller
Or Martial/Rashford over Gnabry/Coman

Tough to even argue those though.

Just goes to show how far our lineup and squad still is off competing in Europe and the Champions League.

Who else gets in?

Probably only Pogba or maybe Bruno,with Sane joining the team next season I don't see any of our forwards getting ahead of him, Lewa, and Gnabry.

I'm not even trying to shit on our players, this Munich team is just strong everywhere.
 
Pogba ahead of Goretzka. Martial maybe ahead of Coman or Gnabry. That's it. Müller is not a flashy player, but all the guy does is win, so he will be in.
 
Questions like this are always difficult to answer. I'm not sure a lot of Bayern's players are world class in a vacuum. Buying Kimmich or Gnabry or Davies wouldn't be a gamechanger for United. These players look great because they function well in a great team. It's the same with many of Liverpool's players.

United have plenty of players who would do well and look far better in a team of Bayern's quality.
 
Maguire in that defense. Although he is too slow for that high line. They got exposed anyway, but still manage to avoid conceding goals.
 
People still don't get it. Having a competent manager would wonders to any team.

As someone said earlier, bring Coman or Gnanbry to our lineup and it wouldn't make us CL champion quality.

Having a right setup for players to thrive is equally important

Exactly, players can look very different in different systems. What would the OP be saying a couple of months ago when Bayern were playing under Kovac? Same players more or less.
 
Probably none in all honesty/ Goretzke is a vital cog in that midfield and has been excellent this season, Pogba wouldnt start over him and probably doesnt have the discipline to play for Bayern. And sorry Muller starts over Fernandes without doubt for them as well
 
Another thread just to bash our squad. Our first XI is very good and with addition of good RW and DM it would be on par with any top team in Europe.
 
Pogba over Müller ? Look at Müllers stats. Also, they play on different positions this season so its acutally Pogba vs one of Kimmich , Goretzka or Thiago

He's probably not slower than Boateng and he's better than both he and Sule. He'd definitely get in that team.

I don't think Pogba would get into that team. They all work tirelessly off the ball. Bruno might. Greenwood might.

Totally disagree. Kimmich is 100% world class, would be an absolutely huge signing in our side as the defensive midfielder and also captain. Davies we missed out on as a winger, as everybody likes attacking full backs over defending on here, he would also be a dream....as he is one of the few that can actually defend too, would totally transform our left hand side. Gnabry has been excellent but yes mayb eis a functioning player, labelling the former two as functioning players is absolute madness, arguably both the best in the world in there respective positions. If we coul dsign anybody this summer I would sign Kimmich
 
Also as a few people have already said, it doesn’t work like that. Neymar, ADM and Mbappe would get in any team but the team they were playing for today still didn’t manage to win.

It's two different teams and I'm sure some of our players would suit them but not many. Instead I worked it backwards for the purpose of finding out which of those CL-winning players would come in and improve our team.

It’s interesting how majority of us don’t have Rashford getting into Bayern’s lineup (which I agree with btw) but then many posters have Rashford up there with Mbappe level in the other thread! Baffling.

On that basis, Mbappe doesn’t get into Bayern’s team either?
 
Martial in the left wing. Pogba for Goretzka or Thiago when Kimmich is playing in midfield. Theirs defense is nothing special, but still none of our players would get in it.
 
Fernandes, Maguire, AWB, Rashford, Martial and Pogba could get in. That’s about it I’d say. I know united fans love hating united players, but right now I’d say these players would be very effective in the Bayern team. But if any player straight up replaces a player. Only AWB and maybe Maguire for Sule and Martial for Coman. Rashford is great but Lew is on a different planet in terms of a striker obviously.

I would actually say that Kimmich and Davies are two of their best players individually. And I have little doubt that playing Kimmich in CM or Davies at LB would be huge for United.
