So will VAR play a big part this season in how many penalties are awarded or not?

This is the top 10 most awarded teams in the past 3 seasons.

2016/17

2017/18
2018/19

We're going to win the most penalties.

Daniel James.
Yep. Totally agree.

In pre season he attracted a lot of fouls.
Several booking-worthy fouls too.

So maybe several yellow or red cards to opposition defenders too.

He is quick and his style to beat others is to show them the ball and then move quickly.

The players that will win the most penalties would be Zaha, Sterling, Pepe and Salah. James is fast but he is not a great dribbler so I don't see how he'll win that many penalties.

The most attacking teams win the most penalties in general.

Yeah, I expect him to draw a lot of fouls but they'll mostly be down the flanks, not in the area.

In theory, there will be dozens more penalties, and it could cause absolute chaos.
For example, almost every corner kick should result in a penalty being awarded. You would be very, very unlikely to find any corner kick scenario where defenders are not shirt pulling or grappling with an attacker, by rights every one of these should result in a penalty.

I'm not even taking into account the situation with handball.....

Whoever Zaha the diver plays for.

Although if he stays at Palace he might get the hump and not try as much.

Whoever manages to perfect the art of hitting a ball into a defenders hand is going to win the most penalties with VAR giving pens for absolutely any and everything.

I am shocked that Liverpool and City aren’t top of that every year.
They seem to be kings of the soft/dived penalty

Wherever Zaha is.

If he's still at Palace, Milivojevic (yeah i googled that spelling) is a Fantasy Premier League must.

Liverpool, same as every year, those lucky twats.

What's wrong with those graphs not ever having them on top by the way?
