I know it's a tad early, but still:

Who will win the Premiere League 2004/2005?

Who will grab the second place?

Who will end up at third place?

Who will win the FA cup?

Who will win the "Worthless cup"?

Who will win the Chamiopns League?

I believe we will win the Premiere League next season,
Arsenal will end up second,
and Chelsea will grab the third spot.

I believe we will be better next season because
our signings for this season will improve,
plus that the newest signings this spring/summer/autumn
probably will add to our depth.

Furthermore I expect that Ferdinand will not receive a ban this season,
and that O'Shea and Brown will make better performances.

Our attack should have more sting in it next season regardless if Forlan
leaves or not; Saha will make a bigger impact, Solskjær the same,
and Smith will also be there to compete for a place. All this will take some of the burden off Nistelrooy's shoulders.

In midfield I expect us to better cope with Keane's age, we have a very promising young player heading our way from Scotland, plus I belive all our signings from this season to develop into more solid players.

I am unsure about some of our "older" players; like Butt, Keane and Giggs, but all in all I think the hunger is back and that will help us a great deal.

Arsenal will NOT copy their performances in the Premiere League from this last season, and their focus will also be even more glued to the European games; now more than ever.

Chelsea will again find that money can't buy you everything,
in a short time-span this is particularily true in the Premiere League.

When we talk about the national cups it's harder to point out any clear-cut winners because the cup is the underdogs' opportunity (some lucky games will take you far).

I believe Chelsea will be eager to win some silverware,
and the FA cup or the "Worthless" cup should be natural targets for them.

When it comes to the Champions League I don't have a clue.

I was sure that either Real Madrid or Arsenal would win it this year,
but none of them reached the final.

I don't think we will win it,
because we are again re-building the core of our team.

Maybe Arsenal this year has a better chance compared to Real Madrid,
due to their fantastic stamina over the last years.

But I can't say I hope the Arses will make it though.

Think Red, Always.

And what are the lottery numbers for this wednesday.?

I think we'll win the Premiership just ahead of Arsenal and sail through to the Champions league final where we will win it convincingly. We have been so unlucky in that competition since 1999 that we are due a break. Chelsea will win feck all as per.

I would think that the race next season will be even tighter. What follows is that Sir Alex will be playing mind games with not only Monsieur Arse Wanker, but also with Senor Maurinho. So he will have two instead of one rival next season.

Will Utd win the Premiership next season? It depends not just on the defense, but the strength of the midfield as well. Utd was not short of firepower upfront, but becoz the midfield were at times ineffective providing Ruud with the services he deserves. That's what led to Utd losing so many 1-0 games.

If Sir Alex doesn't find a consistent, fluid midfield next season, if Giggs start to switch to the right and if Ronaldo starts running all over the park and can't make up his mind if he wants to play on the flanks or in the middle, then even the Saha-Ruud partnership may be toothless. Utd has got to find the kind of fluidity in midfield like the team in 1999 to make an impact. Hope that shitty 4-5-1 or whatever lone ranger upfront formation gets shelved and stick to 4-4-2 instead.

Many blamed the Rio factor for Utd's disappointing season. But I say that it's becoz of the lack of depth and backup at the back that led to Utd's leakage. Let's face it. Even if Rio wasn't banned last season, he can't be expected to be on form throughout the whole season. He's gotta take a break and regain his form somewhere in the season, and a quality backup will be useful. Also he may be injured sometime in the season.

But I'm glad there's rumors coming out that Utd is looking to buy not just one defender, but a couple others including a 17 year old out of contract player from the La Liga.

Maurinho and Chelsea may be a big threat next season. If he can achieve glory with limited resources at Porto, imagine what he can achieve with Chelsea's wealth. And he is a different breed from Raineri's stodgy style of football. But again, too many cooks may spoil the broth and it remains to be seen if money can buy success.

I believe at the end of the day, the key to Utd's success is the defence and midfield, while the upfront is just waiting to unleash the full potential of its firepower!

Far to early to tell the season only finished a few weeks ago.
After the summer and we see who buys who will be easier so to speak to predict.

Top 4 in the Prem same as last season..

We'll win the cup

Which Cup - FA, League, CL, UEFA (after dropping out of CL)?

Far too early for any person to make predictions without all the summer signings known (plus potential long term injuries that may occur during national team play and pre-season matches).

Just to remind you, it'll be extremely difficult for Bremen to win anything next season when they'll have to do without a few of their best players.

I hope this one is right.... however I do find it strange when everyone has made these predictions without knowing what squads will be starting the season, and in some cases what managers will be in charge? I will reserve my judgement for August! :nervous:

I agree

Pletch you're a disgrace. Its patently clear to all manc fans here that Arse are only borrowing your trophy for a season..

Ignore daft factor's such as them being better than you ( along with Chelsea ), that irrelevant

;)

Gillespie thinks Liverpool will finish above us.

Guess you also find it funny when people are predicting Liverpool will finish above us ;) If they finish above us they quite possibly will finish above you as well.

Hopefully just like the last 7 seasons we won't finish out of the top 2, we have the quality to finish 1st but that will depend on how well Reyes and RvP settle in.
