I know it's a tad early, but still:
Who will win the Premiere League 2004/2005?
Who will grab the second place?
Who will end up at third place?
Who will win the FA cup?
Who will win the "Worthless cup"?
Who will win the Chamiopns League?
I believe we will win the Premiere League next season,
Arsenal will end up second,
and Chelsea will grab the third spot.
I believe we will be better next season because
our signings for this season will improve,
plus that the newest signings this spring/summer/autumn
probably will add to our depth.
Furthermore I expect that Ferdinand will not receive a ban this season,
and that O'Shea and Brown will make better performances.
Our attack should have more sting in it next season regardless if Forlan
leaves or not; Saha will make a bigger impact, Solskjær the same,
and Smith will also be there to compete for a place. All this will take some of the burden off Nistelrooy's shoulders.
In midfield I expect us to better cope with Keane's age, we have a very promising young player heading our way from Scotland, plus I belive all our signings from this season to develop into more solid players.
I am unsure about some of our "older" players; like Butt, Keane and Giggs, but all in all I think the hunger is back and that will help us a great deal.
Arsenal will NOT copy their performances in the Premiere League from this last season, and their focus will also be even more glued to the European games; now more than ever.
Chelsea will again find that money can't buy you everything,
in a short time-span this is particularily true in the Premiere League.
When we talk about the national cups it's harder to point out any clear-cut winners because the cup is the underdogs' opportunity (some lucky games will take you far).
I believe Chelsea will be eager to win some silverware,
and the FA cup or the "Worthless" cup should be natural targets for them.
When it comes to the Champions League I don't have a clue.
I was sure that either Real Madrid or Arsenal would win it this year,
but none of them reached the final.
I don't think we will win it,
because we are again re-building the core of our team.
Maybe Arsenal this year has a better chance compared to Real Madrid,
due to their fantastic stamina over the last years.
But I can't say I hope the Arses will make it though.
Think Red, Always.
