I am a cup half full sort of bloke, but I haven’t seen any hint of this team and manager suddenly playing like the team that destroyed Leeds. It’s been downhill for the last two months. The players look confused, leggy and not inspired. The manager looks shattered sitting in the touch line whispering to Michael Carrick. It grieves me to think that the Europa League beckons because that will put off any top class managers that are available when the inevitable happens and Ole is gone. Then it starts all over again. a rebuilding job and another three years down the line we may have a team again. In fact, qualifying for the knock out stages will more than likely just be an extra game given the form this lot are in. I hope I am totally wrong but it isn’t looking good.
