Spurs were with us in the Championship last year, ahead of us at times and winning consistently. We beat them twice though. Spurs strengthened their team a lot in the summer and have two wins so far in the League (West Ham and Liverpool) and one defeat (Chelsea).

It should be a tight match. It's also a match that'll help us gauge how good we are.

Disappointed it's not being shown live on MUTV but there is full coverage of the match later the same day @18:00, repeated @23:00.

It’s live on the FA player at least as an option.

The Spurs match is on BBC Red Button (and BBC website), so that should be ok for UK viewers and as @Bulldog United said it should be on FA player. Just the Scandinavian fans who may have to resort to additional technology.

They were incredibly good at mining out one goal victories last season. Very disciplined team, was also pretty young ad I recall. Wonder how their reinforcements are in comparison to ours?

    And will Jackie Groenen start?

I've not seen any injury updates on her. She didn't play with the Netherlands this week, though she did visit their camp. I've not seen her in any training pics yet, which isn't reassuring.

Abbie McManus came back early (injured) from the England camp as well. Lauren James wasn't with England U19s, but I'm not sure why. So we wait and see really, I'm not sure we'll hear anything much before Sunday.

Mary Earps played for England against Brazil last week. Hayley Ladd is playing for Wales now, against Belarus.

A bit of an injury update coming from yesterday's development team game. Jackie Groenen played the first 35 minutes - so she must be close to coming back. Martha Harris played the first half, that's the first time we've seen her in a while.

Incidentally, Maria Edwards (the 16 year old who's on the fringe of the first team now) scored twice late in the game so we finished 2-2 with Arsenal - and Maria sent another reminder to the boss! Unfortunately we lost the penalty shootout - so we didn't get the extra bonus point that was on offer. Karna Solskjær came on as sub in the second half.

No idea how we didn't score just then. Really unlucky, right from the kickoff - great save, hit post, goalline clearance :D

30 seconds in and we've already had about 4 chances to score!

Leah Galton nearly put through then. Keeper came out well to stop her.

Hansen scores - and United are 0-1 up. Deserved lead, and we could be winning by more.

Own goal to give us a second goal. She didn't really needed to even attempt to block it

BBC gives Lauren James MOTM and simultaneously ref gives her a second yellow card and sends her off.

I mean I know I said she needs locking up for her outrageous skill but come on ref. 2 yellows given some of the challenges in this game that were let slide bit ridiculous.

The red seems harsh on the balance of some of the tackles that have flown in today.

Well despite Spurs and the referee's best efforts, it was a comfortable win in the end. Seriously though, that was appalling from the ref to send her off, and completely unnecessary.

I was there today and the refs performance was terrible, she didn’t really seem to understand how to play advantage and at one point the ball hit her and she blow the whistle stopped the game and gave Utd a free kick..... but apart from that we were always in control and it just seemed how many we would get. James, Zelem and Galton were all very good.

To be fair, that is a rule change that has been implemented this season. If possession changes over due to the ball hitting the ref, they are supposed to stop play and a give a drop ball to the team who lost the ball.

That’s a really strong result, given Spurs’ great start. Zelem, Groenen, Leah Dalton and Kirsty Hanson are beginning to look a real flowing attack, but did Lauren James play as a striker? If that works, there’s going to be a lot of fun in the future!

4th place in the league after 4 games. Really good result.

Looks like they could be up there as contender for the best out side the top 3.

Another very impressive performance, especially the three in midfield, they are all comfortable either side of the ball, can spot a pass and are not afraid to erm arrive a bit late when making tackles when need be - and on that point, I don't know if it was because she was a former Arsenal player but there were two or three Tottenham players trying to get Lauren James 'at it' from the first whistle till she was sent-off(which was harsh).

And pleased for Jane Ross, only the fourth game but I think she needed that goal, hopefully the first of many.

Moment of the match, the outstanding save from Mary Earps around the 70th minute mark, if that goes in it could've been a very difficult last 20+ minutes.

Lauren James was not surprisingly looking upset after getting that second yellow card. Looks like she cheered up when she got her Player of the Match Award.

Absolutely. Her first booking looked a very well timed challenge, took the ball clean as a whistle, then the Spurs player fell over, very poor decision to give a free kick, let alone a booking, second one was slightly mistimed, and was a debatable booking, so very unlucky I would say. The foul on Galton was nasty, and could quite easily have been red, so inconsistent from the ref. We looked quite solid at the back, and James is really going to improve this season, with Galton, Zelem and Groenan we look very handy going forward, just need to put these chances away, could have been 6.
