For those of you who aren't that bothered by silly season and don't want to be alerted every time there is a new transfer tweet, you can now opt-out of those alerts.

You can either do it within the transfer tweets page:

Or within the Alerts Preferences in your account:

Any problems, let me know here.

Meh. I don't know why anyone would want to opt out. Its muppet season you know?

@Niall, or anyone did this sort of reset everyones alert preferences. I keep getting alerts from the time this feature was introduced about replies to watched threads.

Hmm, I hope not. Anyone else experiencing this?

And I'm all out of bubblegum.
I'll do that, since the only thing I ever see on here with Firefox is this:

— Twitter API (@user) date

I simply copied this, but I just realized it might show the actual tweet to the rest of you.

I'm a muppet but I've opted out. I'll be in the twitter discussion page pretty much all the time, so no need for notifications

Network issue blocking the tweet from loading?

Or adblock?

I.. uh.. just turned off Adblock for RedCafe, and while the two images in the OP are now displayed, I still can't see any tweets. I get tweets on Opera and Chrome, though, and both have Adblock running. So it's just Firefox, and I can't for the life of me understand why. It's been like this for as long as I can remember tweets being posted on RedCafe, although I believe there was a period where I could magically see them again.

This is what I'm seeing. If I click "date" it goes to the tweet on Twitter:

Thank you.

I am so used to click to see my alerts that I was tempted to open the thread without reading it.

Thanks it was quite annoying having so many alerts all the time.

Products like Avast have "social networks (not) allowed" as an option in their browser security add-ons. Could it be your AV?
