I think this is based in the film and then there is currently a TV show on it (on iPlayer). Irish comedy, I guess the male version of Derry Girls (even if it came before).
Haven't seen the film but watched the first 3 episodes of the first season and love it. I will admit, the third episode hit me hard - went expecting just laughs, came out at the end with some tears. Makes me very hopeful of the long standing quality if they can throw in heavy stuff as well
