Still VdS in goal for me, I just loved the calmness he brought to the team, almost never made a mistake.
Rio and Vida in defence grew up trying to imitate the way Rio plays.
Neville Evra as fullbacks.
Scholes and Keane in midfield.

Quick mention to DDG, Evra, Rio, Vidic, Johnsen, Kanchelskis, Sharpe, Robson, Beckham, Cole, Solskjaer, Rooney & Yorke who were all considered unlucky not be included. Still may include Kanchelskis ahead of Giggs but Giggs shades it on longevity and service.

Bit of a FIFA lineup honestly & you might think Berba is a bit of a weird shout, but it was between him, Ibra, and RVN. I know RVN deserves the spot, but Berba just made my jaw drop in ways that no other PL player has really done. The Berba-spin to assist Ronaldo is still one of the single coolest things I've seen in football.

A favourite team for me would come from the Tommy Docherty era in the 70's. During that era he took us down into the 2nd division and then got us promotion again the year after. The Doc was a master on the transfer market, bringing in players from the lower divisions. Pearson, Coppell and Hill are examples of such players. Coppell probably the best of the three. The football then was attacking and entertaining and a pleasure to watch. Probably the highlight of that era would be beating Liverpool 2-1 in the FA-Cup final in 77. I'll take the team from that day with the exception of Albiston at LB and put in another Scot, Houston instead. My favourite team (not necessarily the best) would be as follows:
