To play:

Basketball, played it throughout my school years and in university we participated in the fourth division. Excellent sport to play but absolutely dire to watch on TV.

In addition to that I don't mind a game of Golf, Table Tennis  , Floorball, Squash, Bridge, ice hockey. Never been that serious in any of these.

On TV

tennis
ice hockey
and when olymics and world championships are on usually watch any sport we participate in and can win medals in

tennis, basketball and to a lesser extent rugby.

Yes, the game isn't that interesting to watch. Matter of taste, but most people I know do not find it good to watch either.

I suppose I'm a fan of most sports... Basketball, tennis, formula 1 (not a fan of other racing though), Swimming, Athletics...

But while I can easily watch football of teams less than great, I wouldn't bother watching swimming or Athletics if it did not include the top-drawr competitors.

F1 is (was) really exciting...before Schumacher Sr. started dominating

Cricket is still much to boring and slow for me, just like to check the score and the winnners and stuff like that...

Same with BasketBall (NBA)...depends on my mood really....

Tennis is really fun to watch...I love it, esp. the 'Aussie Open' and the 'US Open', but it is kinda hard without Martina Hingis (I support her) :(
Until she's back I'm a Kim Clijsters fan... :D

That's about it then...
American Football, Rugby, etc is too boring..
Snooker Championships are pretty fun at times...
I love the Olympics, always make an effort to watch the volleyball, it is awesome!

Actually I don't play it mixed.
In the south of Holland there is a complete womens competition. And we're top of the league!

ther used to be a sport on channel 4 when i was younger called Kabadi(spelling?). you had to go over a line to where the other team were and touch as many of them as you could without getting caught, all while chanting Kabidi in the one breath. i thought it was great but i haven't seen it in years.

Kabadi! I remember that.

I agree with Elfie that F1 is boring.

Women's beach volleyball can be quite entertaining. ;)

To watch:

Tennis, F1, Basketball, NFL, Golf, Boxing - actually.. i'd watch just about anything and the first page i look at on the newspapers is always the sports page.

I don't watch Rugby or Cricket though.. i find them both pointless..

Other sports? I didn't even realise that the word had a plural.
