I would probably switch Varane with Smalling because of the injuries, although Varane has been more consistent so it makes sense to have him there. AWB and Dalot are neck-and-neck.

Smalling was better for Utd than Varane has been. No contest on who the better player has been career wise of course but purely judged on their Utd spells Smalling has been better. Licha still has a lot to prove as well, had a good season last year but Utd were also on the end of some awful thrashings, but still would go into the team as very few strong options for the LCB.

De Gea was at least the second best keeper in the world at his peak. That should count as world class for sure? We shouldn't forget how good he was at his best just because of how poor he was post-2018.
