Do you have faith in SAF? Do you? If you do, you'll know that whilst we can get carried away and enjoy the rays of being champions, he will now rest until the deed is done.

Trust the manager. We are so lucky to have him.

Mancini looked a defeated man walking towards the tunnel at full time. He knows it's all but done & dusted.

We may well drop points, but so will City. They still have Norwich and Newcastle away, plus us to visit the council house.

And let it be known to the history writers that it was TODAY, Sunday April 8th, that Sir Alex Ferguson led Manchester United to their 20th English League title, putting clear daylight between Manchester United and their closest historical rivals Liverpool.

Let is also recorded by the historians, that Sir Alex Ferguson was the most versatile football manager that ever lived. Over a span of over 25 years, he managed to not only adjust but be ahead of all the footballing trends, that he was always the first to innovate, to reinvent and to transform Manchester United into what it required to be to be all conquering in the English football league.

He saw off challenges from all regions, all angles and all circumstances. No amount of collective skill (Newcastle), brief genius (Arsenal), or money (Chavski and Shitty) were ever able to topple him.

Let the history books never ever forget the genius that is Sir Alex Ferguson, leader of Manchester United and without doubt, the greatest British football manager that ever lived.
My thoughts as well.

We beat Wigan, they beat West Brom (8 points).

They draw at Norwich, we beat Villa (10 points).

We clinch the title by beating Everton at OT.
Yep, that's what I was thinking.

And if we both win our next 3, we can win at the derby to clinch. Even a draw would mean an 8 point lead with 9 points to play for.

Let's just beat Wigan and Villa!

Lets mathematically win it at Old Trafford against Everton... so that City will have to give us a guard of honour out onto the pitch at the Etihad.

That'd be fookin' hilarious.

ohhhh, ok....if you say so....its ours then......
Just relax and savor the next 6 games, our triumphant and unstoppable march to No 20, hopefully secured at Watselands.

Shiity are shot, wasted, finished. remind me of ourselves in 1990/91 when we bottled it to lose to Blackburn.

To lose the title, we need a credible contender ..... Yaya subbed with an injury, Ballotelli imploding with a red card, Tevez the player who only plays when he wants to and Mancini publicly telling his squad they are not not good enough .... I would hate to be in that shitty dressing room right now or indeed on there training pitch in the next few days.

Sometimes a bubble just bursts and you see the cold light of day .... much like we did vs Barcelona in the CL final last year. For shitty its over and I can't see any other contenders.

If we lose from here, then we really should sack Fergie and sell Giggs. But we won't, because they know what it takes, as so so many others at our beautiful football club.

We haven't been playing well but we have been winning. Gaz was correct when he said if United got through that period where we played 6 touch games and remained no more than 5pts behind we would be in a great position

I agree that City are the only contender, I suppose I just think that until the fat lady sings anything can happen. And I KNOW that Ferguson will be saying that to the team. If they think for one minute its over...we've won it....then for sure we will lose points. I think the fans should think the same....same mentality...same do or die. Next game.....do or die...win it....the next...same again...not celebratory...but getting across the finish line. No for fecks sake it is not over yet....we could lose two games on the trot for the same shit decisions that happened for QPR today, through no fault of our own. I'm just saying....until it is definitely over...lets keep our concentration on the next game...team and fans. Then celebrate....

Magical Manchester United.
We were 8 points clear last year too, but had a title decider against Chelsea. We will drop points, we never do it the easy way as Fergie says.
I can't see it. We don't have any European football left, most of our squad (bar the player who've been injured for ages) is available (we can even afford to leave Berbatov and Smalling out like today) and fresh and our next three games are against teams we usually do well.
Win the next two games and we'll have the chance to win the title against Everton. City will feck up away to Norwich, they are mentally broken.

Its football folks. Useless trying to predict what's going to happen. We could easily lose at Wigan's rugby pitch after a referee howler. Just sit back and enjoy the ride.

To be able to recover from the derby nightmare and the CL shambles is a credit to the football club. SAF is the best ever.

As we sit and celebrate todays events, let us remember we are also celebrating Easter. That time a little over 2000 years ago when some guy came back to life. It's going to take a miracle of that size and type for City to come back from this position..

Mind you, something similar happened at Christmas this year, Paul Scholes returned.

I can hear the faint warblings of a fat female singer warming up for a gig in Manchester, however the venue hasn't been confirmed yet, and we've got some work to confirm where it will take place. Till then, let's take one game at a time.

We do have a habit of making it tough on ourselves. Wigan looked excellent against Chelsea and deserved at least a point. City's next two are pretty straight forward, - 2 draws from us and we're back within 4 points and still have to go to their place.

We've obviously in a great position, but need to get a bit more ruthless imo. We were up a goal and against 10 men for absolutely ages today, should have put the game to bed much earlier allowing us to rest key players in this busy week. Yep, I'm that spoiled ;)

I wouldn't call Norwich away straight forward at all, not with how City's away form has been especially.

City have scored three goals in their last eight away games. That is in contrast to 25 goals from their first eight away games this season.

Their away form is terrible.

Aye - Norwich will be really up for it whereas City will probably be disjointed and unmotivated. Can see them slipping there.

Would be brilliant if we were able to field our reserves team against City by the time we get to play them just to take the piss!! :) Lets not get too cocky though and get past Wigan and Everton first.

..that is why he will still be even more focused if that is possible.

we may have won the title when we meet them.
