let's do top 50 movies again, so people can vote The Good, The Bad and the Ugly onto the list.

(I also vote for historic figures.)

Piracy on the High Seas.
Characters. But please this time limit choices by genre. Or it'll be polluted by Pikachu, Luigi and Mrs. Pacman.

Two are saying historical figures, but the vote says Characters.

Personally think both would be interesting.

Thucydides nuts
Disgusted. I can't believe a 50 year old Swedish film about the bitter agony of abandonment, didn't make at least top 5.

Everyone had their own lists.

Characters is a bit wishy-washy, it'll just result in characters from the popular aforementioned movies in this list, sprinkled with a few obvious names from TV shows.

Ok, shall I flip a coin between Characters and Historical figures? I'm guessing songs is a no-no?

Could I be invited? This list is utterly depressing :(
Aye. Our last list is much much better and even then some cried about Forrest Gump making the top 100

That was a great exercise BTW, we gave people 6 months or so to watch movies and come up with a list. I myself did a Hitchcock marathon during the same time. I am gonna organize it again

Surely a few taboos would be needed.

Historical Figures then. Would've preferred Action Figures but this will do.

When will the thread be up?

Can you please post the link of that list, would be interesting to see. On my top 100, surely Hitchkock will dominate with probably more than 5 movies.

And why on earth people moaned for Forrest Gump making the top 100? A brilliant movie, with a brilliant soundtrack and one of the best ever acting.
