Hands off Robben lads, he is not leaving! :p Absolute class from him, such pace before the goal.

Unbelievable game though, can't believe it's 5:1 for the Dutch. Incredible game.

casillas is officially past it. I said it before De Gea should be first choice. I guess Spain will revert to proper tiki taka with false9 Fabregas. this slightly open game with costa has backfired
Drop Casillas

Costa will be the fall guy but the older players are the problem, they need fresh blood in this Spanish team, young Spaniards.

Retire Bosque and a few Spanish old boys.

So happy with this. I really thought this poor Dutch squad would have an awful tournament and LVG would be getting written off before he's even started but this just shows the genius of the man. Incredible result and a tactical masterclass.

LVG has my permission to sign the Dutch team
:D:D

Really incredible how LVG combines experienced WC player with talented / unexperienced player in one team.( Like he did with Muller and Badstuber e.g in Bayern as well.

This is Utd's future formation lads. Our future tactician. Our team is better than this Dutch team (other than Robben). This is a time to be excited. I could see Januzaj playing Robben's role very effectively.

I don't think we should get carried away, he will not make us world beaters immediately, United is a totally different proposition.

But as for this Holland performance, it stems from his ability as a coach - To take a young core of players and have them execute such a good game plan against the last 5 years Harlem Globetrotters is fantastic, IMO Cheesy.

Highlights for me is the mixture between 100% high tempo pressing and sitting off, given the circumstance. Composure on the ball - at times the Holland midfield has out posessioned Spain - and Robben/RVP (granted World Class players)

5-1 10 mins to go....:nervous:
Yep, I won't get too excited about him and I think some probably already have, but this is undoubtedly giving us a lot of confidence for the right reasons. We'll have to wait to see how he does here, and we don't know if he'll be a long-term success over the next few years, but whatever happens he'll be far better than Moyes. Which is something at least.
