And Wikipedia is? I'd trust FM over Wikipedia.
I DON'T believe Wikipedia, that's why I said I'd do some research ;) Just saying that claiming something as fact because of something FM says is bonkers.

Del Bosque's arrogance and gutless decision not to drop Casillas is costing them big time, not just Casillas but it's a huge negative side to there team right now
Should have dropped Alonso too.

But Del Bosque loves Madrid players.

On current form Casilias really must be regarded as one of the worst goalkeepers in the tournament. He must take a large portion of the blame if the Spanish do go out tonight.
I think the Croat keeper and Casillas are dueling it out for worst keeper

Xabi Alonso has been terrible. One of the worst games I have seen him play.
See him against Dortmund? Just as bad. These games are becoming increasingly common for him, he just doesn't get the criticism Xavi etc do for some weird reason.

Great half from Chile, tactics have been great.

So, what's worse?

Current EPL holders finishing seventh or current World Cup and European holders going out in group stages?

Are people still wondering why both Mourinho and Ancelotti both dropped Casillas for Diego Lopez? He is finished at the highest level as are a few of their other players.

I think the world champions exiting the World Cup in the group stages has been fashionable ever since Italy did it in 2010.

Spain's GD currently is -6, having conceded 7 in one and a half game. In 2010 during their title run-in they conceded only 2, what a difference.

Personally, can't see them turn this around. They look toothless upfront, no ideas whatsoever when they've got the ball.

Well, to be fair, I'd think twice before dropping him for Reina, too.

Can Spain now please officially promote their best keeper as their No 1. keeper? They probably now have to after the WC. Good news for DDG!

We'll see what sort of leader Del Bosque is and whether he makes some urgently needed changes to start the 2nd half

Hardly shocking now though, is it? Barca almost got an embargo lately, because of all their dodgy transfer dealings.
It's just not right, pilfering young lads from poorer countries with money, houses etc. The young lads don't know any better, smaller countries are losing out massively.

Dortmund this season or last season? We improved immensely when he came back from injury this year and he was great vs Bayern over the two legs. He has been our second best player after Ronaldo over the last 5 years.

Spain are relying on their has-beens too much. It seems tiki-taka has gone stale.

Really well taken second goal!
