Van Persie, Fellaini, Chica and Januzaj will get extended breaks but I believe the players who went out at the group stages are expected to be there to fly out on the 17th.

He should just fly directly to the states. Also, if Holland win the WC, there may be a parade or similar.

They'd be insane to even entertain selling him (which they're obviously not) as losing him would completely torpedo their chances next year. They may not even win the league.
