"La società aveva promesso a Conte che non sarebbe stato venduto, ma il Manchester United, fresco di accordo milionario con l'Adidas, nelle ultime ore ha alzato l'offerta, trovando l'accordo con la Juve."

Translated;

The company had promised that Conte would not have been sold, but Manchester United, fresh from a millionaire agreement with Adidas, in the last hours has raised the offer, finding agreement with Juventus.

hang on hang on.

Let's remember last summer. Fabregas was a possibility until their manager quit, and then it was off.

Let' hope it's not history repeating, and that he's resigned BECAUSE we've agreed a fee.

But if Conte's gone aren't Juve going to wait until a new manager is in place before selling any players, like the Southampton situation?

We better pull this one off. If we lose him for the sake of 10 million I'll be furious after we paid 27 million for sack of crap Fellaini.

So I'm the only one that thinks Conte resigning means the deal is off or at the very least on a major delay now?

Okay, back to my hole..

Depends on the situation. Maybe Conte decided to resign because Juve accepted our offer (as seemingly suggested by Italian media).

Depends. Do you live in Barcelona where a certain Uruguayan has just landed?
Are you ever happy Kevin?

What must it like being you. Your country was in the semi finals and all you did was moan.

Nobody even knew you were Dutch. You are just the guy who is never happy

Think we're getting way too far ahead of ourselves here.
Considering the reports from Italian sources that Conte would step down if Vidal was sold, I don't think we are. Andy Mitten' comments also add fuel to the fire.

I actually think this is happening and I've been skeptical since the beginning.

Completely different situation in fairness. Fabregas was desperate to fit in at Barcelona and couldn't climb any higher.

This has always been on, Conte fecking off doesn't really do anything to it imo.

However, this news did tinge the cock.

maybe conte just checked twitter and saw indykaila reporting that vidal was done which led to his immediate resignation.

But if (and a big if too) Conte resigned due to Juve sanctioning the sale of Vidal, then any new manager won't get a say on the matter either.

That €44m fee, £35m is sure going around a lot regarding this deal. Both from English and Italian media.
