No objectivity? I said those players will improve Chelsea but I don't think the hype is fair.
I backed this up by saying that three Barcelona managers played Fabregas in a more forward role as opposed to the midfield and even with Xavi in the twilight of his career, none of those managers thought Cesc could replace him. Del Bosque, the Spanish coach, agreed with the Barcelona coaches and didn't rely on Cesc in midfield. The current Barca manager had no plans for Cesc going forward and so he was sold. But Chelsea fans act as though they've signed one of the absolute best midfielders in the world. There was a case for saying he would become one (he wasn't as good as Scholes at the time) when he was still with Arsenal, but he now has to prove himself all over again in the premier league. Not saying he won't, just asking for a bit of objectivity, ironically.
Also, I said Luis wasn't picked for Brazil. Scolari should know the players better than any of us and he favoured others to Luis. Does that mean Luis is not good? no, it just means I find the claims that he's certainly the best left back in the world slightly annoying.
I said Costa didn't have the best of world cups, which is true. You can say it was systems or playing styles or whatever else, but he's got to prove himself now in the premier league.
You can have whatever opinion you like, these are the facts. This is objectivity.
