Complete embarrassment. Van Gaal under real pressure already. I would not bet against Burnley win either. Worst start to a season in my living memory. Hopefully people can now realise how bad the our squad is and there still needs to be a centre back and midfielder signed. Get ready for philosophy nonsense to follow, it is meaningless when players are so bad.
    Di Mari day ruined.

    Stop embarrassing yourself.
Lacks pace lacks a final ball! There's Dreams and reality! I'll get shot down everytime for saying it but it's my opinion I just don't see what all the hype is about! There's only Wilson I would say is ready for a bit part in the first team!

There were too many junior players tonight.
Whoever made that decision messed up big time and doesn't understand the English league.
Van Gaal GET A GRIP NOW!!!

Well this should have happened in the first week of august. At least we might have rushed for a dozen of players in the market.

Well played MK Dons. 4-0 wasn't flattering, they dominated the game and took their chances.

They should be asked to pay for the away fans travel. It's the least they can do.

1 - We can't pass, even if our lives depend on it. For a big team, we suck as basic things like passing and movement.
2 - No strong characters, our players are very soft and hide at the slightest sight of pressure.
3 - We have players who are lacking in technique and tactical awareness.

We don't need the likes of Vidal to beat teams like this, so, no one should raise transfer talks or anything about players being average. LVG should have got out a team there to win by all cost, considering the recent gloom around the club. He blew it and tonight's loss is 90% on him. I'm so livid now.

Good to see LvG trying at least to please some of our away supporters. Yelling at your players after 0-4 will not help much, he should yell at himself in the first place. Change in tactics and getting rid of deadwood could help though.

For all my friends messaging me about this scoreline...the only decent response that I could come up with was that after every bad match this season we went and signed a player. This result would mean 2 signings!!!!

Men vs boys and I include the 3 outfield senior players in that. We basically took our weak undermuscled/underdeveloped U21 side and put in 4 players who LvG has probably already told that they were for sale. The seasoned pros were always going to win, but the performance was stills hocking.

It just illustrates that what we thought of as a strong reserve side is still actually just U21s. Evans was in his 2011/12 form (disastrous, not leading) while Cheech should go as quickly as possible. Ando shouldb e given away for free.

The three centre backs were woeful.

Keane and Vermijl should be nowhere near the first 11

the system/formation needs to go or dare i say it the manager
Reputation or no reputation if we fired Moyes for one inept performance after another do you think we'll keep LVG if this caries on into January

A monumental change of system is a dangerous thing to try. The thing is, he says he's using this system to fit our squad but surely a 4-3-3 would suit us better right now and settle the ship slightly

I wonder what happened to those posters who wanted United to lose so that we can get rid of the glory hunters

Vermiji, powell, keane and james showing they dont have what it takes to make it. I thought powell just never seemed arsed, no wonder he didnt even make the tour. We should get rid of them asap. Hopeless.

Jonny evans also has to look hard at himself.

Thought pereira was good though only bright note of the night. I agree with the earlier posters, all involved should be fined.

Well I just don't know what to say but I'll give it a go.

I'm slightly numb, I don't think I've ever watched my team play so poorly, remember some of those players earn more in a week than I earn in a year and they just didn't give a toss.

Welbeck and Evans were a nonsense and I was saddened to see our bright young things being so hopeless.

We were pish, I just hope our fans at the game get their money back.

Some of the reactions here are ridiculous! The loss to Swansea was worse than this. We sent out a young side and they gave what they had. The senior players in Evans, Anderson and Hernandez were the worst of the bunch. I bet you Fellaini, Cleverley , Valencia or Young wouldn't have a difference.

    The Kids will be alright.
