I don't care if anyone calls me spoilt, the players have disgraced the club in this half. Absolutely unacceptable to be played off the park by fecking Burnley, and we hardly give a shit. I don't know what else is there to say, this is so disappointing, despite the score.
Not all the players have disgraced themselves...one or two so called big names have

We just made burnley look like barcelona...ridiculous. falcao needs to be on the bench. Valencia needs to come on.

Well that was shit. I can't believe we're leading.
Falcao is giving the ball away every time he has it, we don't have a midfield. Losing Blind was the worst possible thing that could've happened. We still had the chance to put both Fellaini and Herrera on to take off some of our pointless strikers.
Maybe van Gaal thought they would sit back like Leicester?

About Januzaj I think that he isn't bad tonight, but he is so alone, he has no one to play with.

How to summarize this joke first half ?

Two central defenders lost against quick movements. Rojo and McNair absolutely awful in postionning... Not a single possession and cant do anything agaisnt their pressing.

We look overplayed when they are switching side. Our players are not integrating the diamond. We have the weaknesses but not the strengH

And what about Falcao... just hope he takes his private jet and leave forever

A parody of football. Lost 4 balls alone... he s just a shame for our club.

Somehow we're 3rd right now. If the scores stay the same, we'll finish the night 3 points behind City. How? We are the worst team in the top 8. We play some disgusting football. Just tumescent, static, pointless football.

LVG, sort this out FFS. We can all see what needs to be done. How can he not see it the stubborn bastard!
Yeah, like people here said, just play 4 and drop 3-5-2 and everything is fine and we will score and create a lot. It's not that easy, our team is a little bit shit.

I feel embarrased to be in the lead. We absolutely do not deserve it and I feel sorry for Burnley.

Great for Smalling to score but this display is making my eyes bleeding.

I was gutted this afternoon because I couldn't make it to the game. Sat at home and, for the first time ever, I don't miss being in my seat.

What a dire performance. At the very least we deserve to see some passion, and we're really lacking that at the moment. We have so many big-name players, yet none are able to take a game like this by the scruff of the neck.

Extremely disappointing. Players look lost, manager looks stubborn. Hard to tell from the commentary on the radio, but it sounds like there has been booing at times. Even the commentators are being sarcastic about long balls, saying it's only a matter of time until we resort to Plan B, Fellaini.
We've already used Plan B; 2 headed goals from 2 crosses. It's what else we can do that worries me

If Smalling scores a hat trick as a substitute being the first to score one at all it will be the funniest thing ever! It would be the sort of thing to happen had I backed against Smalling getting a hat trick.

LVG said this week that defending starts at the front and attacking starts at the back.
The defence are doing their bit to bail out our atrocious forwards but what are the attackers doing?

Falcao and Rooney have lost the ball almost every time they've touched it. Van Persie and Di Maria haven't been much better. Januzaj has had a go but the rest of them bar McNair look happy to stand there and watch him do it.

We can complain about Rooney not being up front all we like but there's no excuse for his inability to find a red shirt with a 5 yard pass. Multiple times. I'd drop him, RVP and Falcao. Give Wilson a run up front on his own. He's the only one who's looked close to the standard required up there this year. Put Mata behind him and Di Maria/Januzaj out wide.

Then play two of the only three bloody midfielders we have in midfield.
Poor Ander comes on to play in a one man midfield.

Falcrap has literally been owned today by every Burnley player. OWNED. Seriously my grandmother could have done a better job than him. The pressure has gotten to him. Every touch is a nervy one. Can't stand seeing him play any more. It's like we're playing with a man down.

We only play Herrera out of necessity and there's only one player left to play the holding role. A player who has been consistently good over the years to getting us goals as a striker.

Januzaj has not been completely useless today but what did he ever do to merit a start anyway?

Definitely one of our worst performaces of the season.

It seems like we always have an excuse.
Not really. If you are a top team, you can still dead with it. If you are the level below like us and Arsenal, you will have problems with it. I stopped really arguing for what I consider to be the obvious which is that we are not a top team at the moment, nor should we expect us to be after all the changes that occured. Hence the inconsistency and disappointing performances

We still can't play good football I can't see any obvious tactics from the manage but a win is a win though. Hope.

About Januzaj I think that he isn't bad tonight, but he is so alone, he has no one to play with.
Because most of the time he makes himself alone by running into alleys where he'll be double marked. Dribbling is only a great tool when it's used at the right time otherwise it's a guarantee to lose the ball.

Loaning Falcao has to be up there with some of the best business we ever did. Imagine if we purchased him outright for £40 million+ with a long contract of about £300K a week, IMAGINE.

Crouch is having a good game against Man City.
With all the long balls we play, I think we should get this guy in the Summer.
Personally, I think Crouch offers a lot more than Falcao.
If I had not seen Falcao 2 years ago, I'd say that this guy is not premiership level and should be sold to a Championship team.
    LVG needs to drop Falcao.

I'm not sure what is funnier, the game or the people beforehand talking about how it is only Burnley at home...

City are and Chelsea are both drawing? If scores stay as they are, we'll be only 3 points behind 2nd and 10 points behind 1st

Theres no point going on about Falcao and RvP - our service to them has generally been shit on a stick for months - it is no surprise.

Rooney may as well be on the bench and Fellaini on if he's sitting back - oh but wait he can't be subbed.

Falcao has been an absolute waste of space and money. Cannot run behind the defense. Cannot beat defenders with dribbling, cannot take half chances, cannot even hold the ball up. What exactly is he offering which Chicharito could not? If fact Chicha would have scored some of the chances that fell Falcao.
    EXACTLY!!!..... bring back hernandez

Abomination. Even Fred the Red can see now that these tactics are not working.

Today is the day we can start thinking seriously about who should succeed Louis in May. We can discuss our options in the appropriate thread.

That's the first time I've felt we were utterly clueless. Big Louis needs to make a decision at half time. I've always credited him with the ability to make decisions that alter the game. If he can't see how wrong we look in our current set up after that 45, he's maybe not the man I thought he was.

No end product from him. It's all very well beating a man but he can't pass for toffee and he often fails to see a better placed player.
Well is a football player not Jesus Christ, he beat someone look infront of him, and see RVP and Falcao walking at the other end of the field.

I think he's lost the dressing room lads. I cannot see any other explanation other than they want LVG out and are playing this bad to make it happen.
Once again? We had this a year before. If this is so then the players have to be scrutinised.

Bizarrely, all 11 of our outfield players look like they're alone. The only two able to link-up on a regular basis are the centre backs, but dear God, I can't take much more of seeing them pass side to side.
